Open any job posting in your field and look at the "nice to have" section. That's where the tiebreaker lives, and right now it almost always says some version of "experience with AI tools." Most applicants ignore it or bluff it. Your capstone is how you walk in as the one candidate who can say "here, watch it run."
A capstone is a robot that does one boring weekly task from the job you want. If you can say "every Monday I want an email that tells me X," you have a capstone.
You're not padding a resume bullet. You're building the demo that answers the nice-to-have before they even ask.
